Where are your products manufactured?

Old Sun Knits’ products are made in Whitefish, Montana.

How are your products made?

All knit products are either hand knit, or hand made on a manual knitting machine.  Each item is made individually, then sewn together and finished by hand.  All pompoms are made by hand.

Will the product I purchase appear exactly how it is pictured on the Website?

Each item we sell is handmade individually.  Things may vary slightly.  Also, colors may appear slightly different on your computer monitor than they actually are.

Shipping + Returns

What are your shipping times?

If items are in stock, they are usually shipped within 3 days.  If items are out of stock, they are typically ready to ship between 1-2 weeks from order date.  Larger orders may take more time, and certain times of the year are busier than others.  Please contact us if you have a time constraint.  We always try to get your items to you when you want them.

What shipping method do you use?

Our standard shipping method is USPS First Class Mail.  We use other methods when it is cost effective.  If you prefer a different shipping method, please contact us.

What is your return policy?

Unused items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Custom orders may not be returned.

Do you do Custom Work?

Yes.  Additional charges may apply, and shipping time will vary.  Please contact Old Sun Knits for more information.

Do you have an Extra Large size?

Yes.  There is a base charge of $2.00 extra on extra large hats.  Additional charges may apply.  Please contact Old Sun Knits for more information.

Can I order something I see on the Website in a different color?

Yes. This will usually qualify as a custom order. Additional charges may apply, and item will not be returnable. 

Do you offer a discount for large orders?

We offer discounts for some large orders depending on what they are and how many.  Please contact us for more information.

Yarn & Care

What are the care instructions on the knit goods?

Most knit goods need to be washed by hand, in cold water, and laid flat to dry.  See individual items or contact us for more information.
